| While
technically not a mosaic, this was an interesting project using
sheets of stained glass to cover a bar front in a restaurant.
Twenty two panels of varying sizes and alternating colors of
Kokomo apricot and blue/purple/amber were cut to fit channels
running along the underside of the bar top and the base. Laminated
clear glass (1/2" thick) was placed in channels in front
to protect the stained glass. Backlighting provides wonderful
ambiance for the dining patrons - especially during the evening. |
